Translation
The key to a good translation is a good translator; we only work
with those translators who have demonstrated knowledge of the
subject to be translated and proficiency in writing. My colleagues
are linguists, business people, doctors, engineers, and lawyers
who work in both English and Spanish.
To assure the best quality, our translation process consists
of three steps: translation, editing and final revision. The translation
and editing are done by two different translators who specialize
in the subject matter, while the final revision is done by the
original translator after the editing changes have been incorporated.
Interpreting
We provide interpreters for a wide variety of situations, such
as conferences, meetings, negotiations, hearings and depositions.
Although most people believe that interpreting and translating
are the same, there is quite a difference between the skills.
Translating involves the written word, while interpreting deals
with verbal communication.
There are two types of interpreting: consecutive and simultaneous.
 |
In consecutive interpreting, the
interpreter waits until a statement has been completed before
he or she delivers the message in another language. Consecutive
interpretation is more appropriate for meetings, negotiations,
hearings and depositions. |
 |
In simultaneous interpreting, the
interpreter speaks at the same time as the speaker. Simultaneous
interpreting is more appropriate for conferences or seminars.

Terminology Management
Since technical or non-technical words often have different translations,
we use terminology management software to maintain consistency
throughout the present text and with future translations or updates
clients may need.
Narration
For business audio-visual needs, we provide voice talent for narrations
in Spanish with an appropriate accent and tone.
Presentations
Many times written communication is not enough to inform employees
about company benefit plans or to answer their questions. We provide
professionals who can study benefit plans and present them to
your employees in Spanish.
